Space Age Trompe-l'oeil
Using spacial illusions as inspiration, I began to create this collection. My intention was to warp the viewer’s perspective of depth and space within a wearable garment.
I have always been fascinated with the work of Olafur Eliasson. A installation artist who is able to envelop the viewer in his creations. Using his work with spacial illusions as inspiration, I began to create this collection. My intention was to warp the viewer’s perspective of depth and space within a wearable garment.
This pattern was created by using painted physical props, wooden orbs, cubes, and atmospheric large scale works.
